Hollie Sobel, Ph.D., is an experienced clinical psychologist currently serving at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. In her position as Director of the Rush Education and Emotional Health Evaluation Program, Dr. Sobel focuses on providing diagnostic, psychoeducational, and personality testing services to child/adolescent patients. Her role as a clinician also involves leading individual and group psychotherapy sessions for patients diagnosed with a variety of psychiatric disorders. To provide optimal mental health care services, Hollie Sobel works closely with the diverse medical team at the Medical Center.

Over the course of her career, Hollie Sobel has contributed to the field of clinical psychology as a dedicated educator and researcher. Currently involved with the psychiatric residency program at Rush University Medical Center, Dr. Sobel regularly supervises interns and residents and delivers academic seminars. She previously served with the Department of Psychology at the University of Illinois as a member of the adjunct faculty. As a researcher, she is presently involved in an ongoing project related to the treatment of autism. Academic articles by Dr. Sobel have appeared in scholarly publications, such as the Journal of the American Academy of Children and Adolescent Psychiatry.

Hollie Sobel holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana as well as a Doctor of Philosophy in Clinical Psychology from the Illinois Institute of Technology. Fully licensed to practice clinical psychology in the state of Illinois, Dr. Sobel is an active member of her profession. She maintains affiliations with American Psychological Association, the Illinois Psychological Association, and the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapists.
